Cliff's parents - Rodger Webb was married to his mother, Dorothy Dazely on 26th April 1939 at St Paul's Church, Abansol, India

Cliff was born Harry Rodger Webb, weighing in at a very healthy 9 lbs !

Born in Lucknow India at The King's English Hospital on 14th October 1940 and was christened at St Thomas' Church, Howrah, India.

He started school in September 1946 (aged almost 6 yrs) at St Thomas' Church School, Howrah, India

Cliff and his family left India for UK on 24th August 1948

arriving in UK on 13th September 1948

In Sept 1952 Cliff started his secondary school in UK, Cheshunt County Secondary School

His first acting debut was in The Price of Reflection in February 1954, followed by The Ugly Duckling in October 1954

He first heard Elvis singing Heartbreak Hotel in Waltham Cross in May 1956 and decided there and then he wanted to be a pop star

He first performed in rock n roll on 14th July 1956 with The Quintones, and his first review in the Cheshunt Weekly Telegraph followed in December 1956

He has three sisters - Donella, Joan and Jacqueline

He is 5' 10" tall, has brown eyes and became a Christian in 1966

His first 'official' fan club began in April 1958 and finished in 1966 with approx 42,000 members !! The rest is history....
